Center School Arrival Reminder
February 7, 2019As communicated via back to school newsletter, school website and Connect Ed messages for the past 6 school years.
School begins at 8:50 a.m.
Students should not arrive prior to 8:40 a.m.
Walkers and those arriving by car must line up outside in their classroom lines ACCOMPANIED by their parent.
Per teacher contract, we do NOT have staff on duty inside or outside of the building to supervise the children prior to the bell ringing.
ONLY students that are coming for breakfast may enter the building at 8:40 a.m.
- If you need before school childcare, there is a before school FKO program from 7:15 a.m -8:50 a.m.. Please call Mr. Evan Ruddick at 978-998-2345 for program information.
- Our Tuesday and Thursday BOKs program is a sign up program and is full for this school year.
The only exception for early morning school entry is below freezing (32 degrees or lower), a snow storm and heavy rain. If it is snowing or drizzling out, please use an umbrella and wait outside in the classroom line. Please be aware that we have gym classes that begin right at 9:00. If many people are waiting inside, the gym floor is dirty for PE class, with minimal time to clean up the gym floor.
If the gym is open, we will put signs on the doors and open the gym at 8:40 a.m. for students to stay warm. Parents MUST accompany their children in the gym until the bell rings at 8:50.
The late bell rings at 9:00 a.m. If your child arrives after 9 a.m., parents must sign students in.
We appreciate your cooperation to keep all our students safe upon arrival at Center School!
