PVMHS 2018 Summer Reading List
May 30, 2018The Peabody K-12 Summer Reading Program supports the educational growth and development of students as lifelong learners. Summer reading helps to maintain the child’s reading level, thus ensuring a smoother transition from grade to grade.
Summer reading encourages appreciation of literature, and enhances learning by offering a variety of themes.
Each student will choose ONE book recommended by a teacher from the list. During the first weeks of school, English teachers will administer a grade level assessment of the reading for part of the first term’s grade.
Students may TAKE ORIGINAL NOTES/KEEP A LOG of characters, events, conflicts, setting and themes.
