Peabody Home Learning Plan

Dear Peabody Public Schools’ Elementary Students and Families,

Over the next two weeks, we are recommending that students continue to engage in learning experiences within their day. We recommend that students try to engage in the following academic areas daily.

Reading…………………………………30 minutes
Math………………………………………30 minutes
Writing (journaling)……………….30 minutes
Social Skills (board games, brain pop, etc.).30 minutes
Physical activity……………………60 or more minutes
Mindfulness………………………….10 minutes

For families in need of a computer device to participate in these learning experiences Peabody Public Schools will have a limited number of Chromebook devices available for students to sign out during this period of time. Devices will be available in limited numbers at Elementary Schools on Monday, March 16th between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Additional information on internet access will be provided with signed out Chromebooks.

We would also like to provide families with a resource to discuss COVOID-19 with their children. Please feel free to use this link.
