Kindergarten Registration Information

Spring is coming…and so is Kindergarten Registration!
Kindergarten registration for the
Peabody Public Schools 2022-2023 school year
begins on Friday, April 1, 2022.
Here are the answers to some common questions:
- How old does my child need to be to register?
Incoming students need to be 5 years old by Sept. 1, 2022.
- How do I register my child?
Parents and legal guardians can access the online platform on the Peabody Public School website. Please visit: https://peabody.k12.ma.us/. For a preview of important documents needed for registration, please click here.
- How does the online process work, and what information do I need?
*Step 1 – Open the student registration tab on the Peabody Public Schools Website and fill out the google form.
*Step 2 – A link will be sent to complete the registration process.
*Step 3 – Complete the registration forms and upload the supporting documents (2 Proofs of residency, child’s birth certificate, health forms, parent ID).
- What if I don’t have access to register online or if I need assistance with the application process?
We are happy to help and have set up some times for registration assistance at each of our elementary schools:
Thursday, April 7 | Brown School – 9:30a.m. – Noon
Burke School – 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. |
Friday, April 8 | Carroll School, 9:30 a.m. – Noon
Welch School, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. |
Monday, April 11 | McCarthy School, 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Center School, 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. |
Thursday, April 14 | West School, 9:30 a.m. – Noon
South School, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. |
*Translation services for Spanish and Portuguese will be available.
In addition to the days/times above, parents and legal guardians can access paper forms and/or support with the process at the Peabody Public School Administration Office, 27 Lowell St. beginning April 1, from 8:30 a.m. – 2:30p.m.
- Are there translation services available?
Translation services will be available at the school registration dates listed above. For translation support outside of these dates, please call the Administrative Office in advance and make an appointment, 978-531-1600.
- Are there any events that I need to know about after the registration process is complete?
School Open House Events and Screening Dates will be announced soon. Continue to check the school websites for details!
