Student Resource & Support Center (SRSC) at Higgins Middle School

About the SRSC: The Student Resource & Support Center (SRSC) is a dedicated space created to assist students and their families with mental wellness. The SRSC is a safe and supportive environment that provides access to a variety of services and resources.

On-site clinicians who specialize in mental health services for adolescents are available to support students dealing with a wide range of concerns, including those who have been affected by bullying, anxiety, stress, or other personal challenges.

SRSC Offerings:

  • On-site specialized care and referrals to trusted mental health professionals
  • Assistance with filling out bullying report forms
  • Mental health resources and a variety of informational materials
  • Counseling, as well as referrals to external resources when needed

Location: Higgins Middle School in Office 12 (next to the nurse’s suite).

Hours & Appointments: HMS students can visit the center Monday–Friday between 8:25 am – 3:20 pm by booking an appointment HERE or speaking with an HMS staff member/trusted adult. Walk-in hours announced daily. Parents/caregivers can schedule an appointment by calling 978-536-4831.

Cost: No cost to speak with on-site clinicians or receive information/resources. For ongoing support, staff will work with your insurance provider or help you find other options.
