First Free Educator PD session from the Peabody Institute Library is May 29 from 4 – 7 PM

Calling all teachers! The Peabody Institute Library is a certified professional development provider for Massachusetts. The library is now offering FREE professional development for educators on May 29 from 4 – 7 PM.
This PD session will be: Matching Kids with Books
Learn about the great, free resources that the library offers that you can use to help match your students with books they will want to read, choose new titles for your classroom and lesson plans and gain the confidence use some of the library’s tools with your students. We will also be talking about cross-content engagement and finding both fiction and nonfiction books on the same topic. Hands-on learning time with library resources will be provided.
This professional development is free and available to all educators PreK-high school. Participants will receive 3 hrs of PD credit for attending this session. Certificates upon completion will be provided. Space is limited, however, so registration is required. You can sign up online,
