The City of Peabody will be offering a drive-through flu clinic for Peabody residents and staff aged 6 months and older on Saturday, October 24 from 10 am to 2pm at the Department of Public Services facility at 50 Farm Ave. Injectable vaccine and Flu Mist will be available, as well as a limited quantity of high dose flu vaccine for those who qualify. No pets are permitted in vehicles that enter this drive-through flu clinic so please leave animals at home. All participants must wear masks covering their mouth and nose. Participants should bring their health insurance cards and Medicare cards if they have them, but you will not be turned away if you are uninsured or underinsured. Please wear clothing that provides easy access to your upper arm. Please also make sure to prescreen yourself the morning of the clinic, and do not attend if you have any symptoms of illness or have been diagnosed with or in close contact with someone diagnosed with COVID within the past 3 weeks.
Participants should approach the clinic from the Centennial Park/Jubilee Drive area rather than from Route 1/Forest Street in order to join the line. Please note that flu vaccine is widely available this fall, and is available at many pharmacies and doctors’ offices if you are not able to attend this clinic. A second drive-through clinic is also scheduled for mid-November, and information on that clinic will be released soon.
